i dabble here and there with different kinds of media, thought i'd start an art thread. sometimes it's photomanipulation, sometimes photography, sometimes drawings. most all these images should be clickable for one reason or another.

In terms of artwork, yes.

Without a doubt, that is of quality and it is clearly evident.

However

I don't know but perhaps it's just me.

Personally, I do find the images a bit too graphic.

Whether that is a good thing or a bad thing is not of concern...........though I guess it might just really be me.

Again, I'm not complaining about the artwork. The artwork is well done so no problem there.

It's probably just the graphic nature of the artwork that I'm not used.

Still, to the creator (ronji), your artworks are indeed neat and it is highly appreciated.

I hope you keep up the good (I mean splendid) work.

anyway, i just realized that i never really gave a lot of information on the first two images. the first (orangutantula), as you may have guessed, is just photoshop work on my part. the two images used were just found using GIS. the second (walk without rhythm) is also just photoshop work on my part. the background is from the cover of the book Heretics of Dune. the image of christopher walken is directly from a still of the fatboy slim music video, which i tweaked a bit to make it look like it really fit with the background. i should have mirrored him to make the lighting work better, though.

i would like to hear an explanation of what you mean by "graphic" =)
if you mean they're mostly photomanips or just photos (the flower) then yeah, that was my intention. i don't do a lot of drawing or painting. i'm working on a digital drawing now, and hopefully i'll be able to update this soon.
