Dear beatmania/beatmaniaIIDX community,

I, Vistah, have decided to gather a bunch of talented artists to help produce a beatmania IIDX doujinshi to sell at Bemani Fest 2006 (and other conventions if all goes well.) Since I know some people on here are artists, I am willing to shell out some time (and money to artists if necessary,) to get this project up and running. As stated above, the frame of submission for art is April 08th to June 08th. If you want a specific part, like cover or back cover, we can discuss that on PM or AIM, whatever floats your boat. Here are the book specs:

•32 pages: This depends on how many artists want to contribute.
•Comic Sized TRIM is 6.5x10.25 with a .25 TRIM AREA, a .25 SAFETY and a .25 BLEED
•For Black and White line work SCANNED and saved as a flattened BMP or TIFF file - 600dpi. For Color and Grayscale - 300dpi.

(I’m printing 25 books, if people are actually willing to buy them at Bemani Fest 2006, I’ll print 50 books. This is $160 going into these books already; I will pay the artists if anything, just to get them to work.)

Like I said before, any art is welcomed, even vector format, just as long as it goes by the trim format.

For those of you who don’t think they’d be able to do it in time, I’ll work something out with you. The reason why I have the dates set up because it virtually allows one month for the printing services to print the book. I am looking for help in picking artists and everything, if you think you can handle the job of sorting and everything, give me a PM or Aim too.

… So this is what 7.0 is? This place is rather sexy… makes me wish I was an art mod, lol. Oh hi guys! I’m alive and well and I’ve come with good news.

I don’t have any money to go to Bemanifest 2006, so because of this and the fact that I’m not messing with my money in the bank (that’s for the book,) I’ve decided that its only fair to be selling these book at Otakon 2006 and online via Pay Pal (As soon as I set that up.)

Because I’m not in a rush to get it printed now, which means everyone gets an extension till:

July 10th!

Yay for extensions! here's a WIP for Celica. Now that I've got time, I'll do some other characters too.

Well everyone can continue work or other submissions; July 10th may not be official (assuming this printing company doesn’t screw me over. I just got call from them and they recommended finding another company incase they shut down… the fags.)

I also had told Ayaka (I think that was her 6.0 name before we upgraded,) about the extension on AIM. I was supposed to tell everyone that day but I was too lazy to do so.

I’ve received submissions from Gosha (is he on 7.0,) AC (OMFG those pictures are beyond awesome, I love the “Ultimate 4”,) I’ve also received a couple from Miyabitsugaru a.k.a Ayaka, if I remember correctly Schreibaby-Seidon sent me one, and I didn't forget about you Chihiro923!

NVFM that preview is beyond awesome, I swear, I really want to see it colored; I really hope you are able to do more works!!!
