Default V-RARE SOUNDTRACK-9 USA Redesign - Looking for Feedback

I was kind of confused and disappointed to see the chain in design for the USA V-RARE soundtracks change from a typical square sleeve to a slim DVD box. Especially since the #9 V-RARE didn't really have anything special about it other than being released at a particular store.

It's been almost a year since I made this and back then I never really thought about posting it. I'm looking for any feedback and criticism on it's design and how it fits in with the others.

Holy crap Mike, I didn't know you redesigned the V-Rare case, that's fantastic. Makes it fit in waaay better with the other V-Rares.

And as much as this sounds odd, I'm glad you did away with the little planet thing from behind the logo. Since the US game art doesn't have that (only JP CS and the arcade) it makes sense to leave it out.

I'd totally pay you to make me one of those V-Rare sleeves so I can keep all mine organized without that giant ass DVD case in with them.

yeah that is pretty awesome, I'm a sucker for authenticity so I wouldn't necessarily use it, but it really does look good. I think it'd be awesome if you made the source file for it available somewhere so people could print/make their own. Hell, I'd be more than happy to host it for you if you needed somewhere reliable.

Right now I'm actually more amazed by your copy of V-RARE 7 (UM3/EX2). It's the only one I'm missing from both the Japanese and US sets and I can't find ANYONE that has one to sell/trade/whatever. It's driving me crazy. I have duplicates of several of the others, and I can't even find one of that particular one XD

Actually the reason I left it out was because I couldn't find a decent reference image to place into Illustrator to redraw. That, and by the time I got done redrawing the SuperNOVA logo and all the small ones on the back I didn't want to do any more. :P

I currently cant find any of my files for this project right now. I did it on my girlfriend's laptop when she had some CS2 programs but she sold it a while back. If anything I'll probably only have the finished PDF floating around somewhere.

I didn't intend to sell copies of this. I'd feel wrong about selling something that contains company logos that I didn't originally create. That kind of goes with just distributing it too. I don't want the wrong people to get a hold of it and I get in trouble. I just wanted to see what others thought.
