I always wanted to try vectoring, and when the time came to give it a try, I sucked horribly at it, so I'm impressed by this. Its effectiveness can be improved some more if you can add shading and stuff to the character.

Hm... This thread is dead. Hopefully my post will help start it going again. I'm still fairly new to vector art. I've used Photoshop forever, but I just bought Adobe's CS2 about 2 months ago. And now I'm trying to get used to Illustrator. Here we go.
It took me forever to make that Zen Vision look as real as possible. Yeah, I wish it were a real ad or something, but it's just me being bored.

The only thing that bothers me about it is the shadow. It falls straight down, which really messes with the perspective of things. Other than that, you've done a great job with the overall piece. | |
