messing aroung w those whithout a clue tryin to get a good sound is annoying

can anyone tell me where to find some serious tuts about them explaining the various settings, what knobs do, tips for filters and so on?

Also try to find a copy of the FL Studio Bible, it might have some info for you.

There's another guide around somewhere (not on here, like a pdf file) called "How to make a sound" if I remember right. It tells you what all those knobs are for and what all those little waveform buttons mean and explains LFO's and whatnot.
