Ambient - Caribbean Rain

This is an ambient tune I've been working on. It still needs a little work, polishing round the edges, bu I'm pretty happy with it at this point.

BTW I know it's a little repetitive, but, you know, it's ambient.

That was part of the reason behind this track, but it's mostly because I've been in a really relaxed/chilled out kind of mood since I went to the aquarium.

... haha, to the aquarium. I listened to it last night. Nice track, but not too sure what to say about it. Don't agree with the melody in some parts, and the choice of some pads, but all in all its a solid piece.

I do agree with the pads being a little meh

I've decided to:
change the main pad
make the piano sound better
add more variance to the bass part of the piano
add another piano melody
take out the kicks
add reverb to the hats
add additional hats for variety or a more natural sound
do some harmonics with the strings perhaps

Sounds like a gameplan.

I'd love it if the pads were softer .. they're a bit harsh right now. Sweeping .. moving .. sexy.

Keep us posted. I'd love to see where this goes.

basically just changed some of the sounds (the piano and the strings, and the bass) to make them sounds better/fuller/smoother/etc
