Default Appetizers and Entrées from DJ Chef Nguyen

Hey everybody. I am DJ Chef Nguyen (DJ Chef, for short). I'm from Lawrence, KS, attending the University of Kansas. I am both a Radio DJ and Club DJ.

As a Radio DJ, I work for KJHK 90.7FM and I have a special program called "Club Soda". This program is centered on Top 40 mainstream remixes, Urban transitions, and briefly covers other sub-genres of the Electronica Spectrum. Right now "Club Soda" is in its 3rd season run and currently airs on Saturdays 8-10PM.

As a Club DJ, I am the main host of Pride Night. The host and emcee position was passed down to me by Ph.DJ Chris (my mentor DJ), who hosted for 4 years in Lawrence, KS. I started performing in October 2008 at the Granada and up to mid-January 2009. Then I migrated over to Wilde's Chateau 24, continuing to host Pride Night on Wednesdays. In the Club DJ mode, I serve Mainstream, TOP 40, Urban, Club, Electronica, and Retro hits. Not only do I serve audio, but I have Music Videos to satisfy the eyes of my guests.

What sets me apart from other DJs? One main thing is that I learn from the best. As I said before, I was trained rigorously to perform in front of any crowd. Sure other DJs have been trained by their mentors for technical ability, but that's only a small part of a DJ. Any DJ can offer that easily, however in addition, I can present a quality of respect, punctuality, and communication. Also, unlike most DJs out there, I acutally have a voice. How often do you go to a club where you can actually here the DJ emcee? I know that there are some people out there who would like to determine whether a DJ is mute or not.
