Just posting mp3 up front cause I don't feel like putting it on Acidplanet since i'm planning on making an extended version. This version is 1:45 and intended for Stepmania use.

Definitely sound like L.E.D. Right of the bat.
hmm I understand the mood your going for, but some notes in that starting synth shread dont sit right with me. Some seem off.
I think your trying to change keys every 4 bars, but everything isnt syncing up properly. Probably with the bass or something. heh I cant say for sure just something feels off.
Anyways, cool ideas, keep it up man

The problem is that you're shifting to incorrect modes. The song switches from a tonic minor (incorrect terminology, yell at me later) to a minor based off of the minor sixth, A flat minor to E minor. This causes a G to be played, a note which is not in the A flat minor scale. Now, if you made it A flat minor to E major you would be implying an E major dominant 7th, which in my experience can be pulled off very well. I do hear melodic elements where a G could make sense, but only as a passing tone. The second half seems to be very melodically scattered, almost like you're changing keys before the measure ends. This would also be pulled off better if the G was raised to an A flat.
Aside from the technical musical jargon, it's incredibly well produced; like, incredibly. I've tried hard to make this genre before, and I can never get synths to sound right for me. If you wanted to extend it more it could easily be pulled off. I also understand that your attempts at psytrance always came out like goa, so I can tell you are definitely more of a goa kind of guy. Just fix up the melodic discrepancies and it'll be good to go.
EDIT: I am mistaken, raising the G would imply an A flat minor sixth, since A flat minor is the main key. Still sounds rad though.

Marketplace Rating: 3 | lol I really need to learn about all these modes and key signatures and whatnot. When I was writing the song I thought the progression just went between 2 notes for the entire song and built off the same scale (whatever scale it is) but I don't know anything past major and minor scales, I have no idea what modes and all that is. Time for some learning BBL
Anyway thanks for the comments, guys. I think Arkie's right, Goa must be my 'thing'...I should probably take some time to learn more about eastern melodies and quartertones--which he pointed out to me are present in a lot of eastern music.

You use FL right?
What synths did you use, especially for the acid and the pads?

ps no offense but I find it amusing how producing "mystical" music like goa and such can make it so obvious whether or not the creator actually has mystical experience. 8)
In any case, sir, you have gotten better.

Pads were a combo of Nexus and samples from a Sony disc.
Leads were z3ta+ and Nexus.

It feels like something is lacking however, I was expecting a bit more.
However, this is some really cool work man, I like this alot.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I did read what Arctures said. It sounds better than before, but something just doesn't seem to click perfectly. I'm sure most people won't notice it, but this is just how my ears interpreted it.
Don't get me wrong though, this is still a good song.
