Just did some studying and thought i'd practice with the keyboard a bit ^_^''

I got hooked for about 2 hours hahah thoughti should really keep
studying. I thought ~ might as well practice some sequencing so i don't
forget how it feels to lay down a track in Modplug. Here's what i made
while i was practicing:

This probably isn't going to be a finished product, just a loop i made to
practice my sequencing.

Music is my passion~ I've been working hard on it for the past 5 years
with no musical background at all. I also feel that maybe that could be my
downfall as well if i were to pursue a career in music production.
With no traditional training, i feel a bit afraid. It's just too uncertain.

As for nursing, i love kids! I hope to get into the field and study to become
a pediatric nurse. I think you can hear my music that my attitude towards
life in general is pretty happy-go-lucky. Think positive! Unfortunately,
depending on my music as an income just doesn't sound to realistic for me.
I'm turning 23 this year and I have to plan for my future. Of course,
music will be a part of it~ it's just i have to work hard now to insure that
it will be there waiting for me when i'm ready again.

Right now, i've been working almost 7 days a week~ plus school is
starting VERY soon (in 3 weeks). I gotta go for this! For once, i finally
feel like i know where i'm going. Music has never given me a path as
clear as the one i'm on now.

I'm not LEAVING though, i'll stick around ^_^ Who knows, a track might
pop out when least expected sometime in the future.

Again, thanks to everyone on this board~ Bemanistyle just plain ol' rocks!

I know how it feels to be so busy... been there, done that, didn't like it one bit.

But seriously, every time I hear a new track from you, even if it's just a little loop, I am inspired. For having no musical background, you seem to have this down pretty well. If you can find some time, I seriously suggest pitching some of your songs to a good-sized record company. Not Sony BMG (they screw their artists royally), but even something like ZYX or Nothing Records. Due to the nature of electronic music genres, it might not get you enough money to live off of, but it certainly wouldn't hurt. I know I'd buy a CD.

Or at the very least, you could play some of the more soothing tunes over the speakers at whatever pediatric office you work at. Aqualicia, anyone?

Whatever you do, though, do NOT let the music go. You've got a major gift with this, and I would absolutely hate to see it go to waste. It's the people like you who keep me coming back to the MP forum.

P.S. Make White a finished product, and you get 200 tokens. I think it's got promise.

"White" was inspired by Akira Yamaoka ~ I was listening to his iFuturelist CD
in the car and i just thought about how much i love the music from Silent Hill.
I thought i'd practice by trying my hand at another dark/upbeat track.

Just an update~ I'm still alive!

I was really nervous because the teacher was right over my shoulder...

Besides that, i'm actually working on a new track (started it today)~
Another VGM track, that's about 1:30 right now. This one will be finished!

K listening. Heh this sounds like a vibraphone ^_^. I like the bongo deals too. Really nice piano sound. Some notes just sound off though.. I'm not sure how to describe it, but just randomly every little while a note just doesnt sound right.

hehe pretty awesome though. Almost sounds like a good forest rpg song. Keep it up! Cant wait to hear the final.

Hey guys, honestly~ my piano is covered in dust ^_^'' My mini stereo jack
is busted and i haven't had time to go buy another one just yet...
But i have been practicing guitar a whole lot these past few weeks!

I have more written down, but i haven't recorded it yet~ As i'm still
getting used to singing and playing at the same time ^_^

This is a somewhat live recording~ i recorded it once singing/playing
and then i just added a little background vocals on the second run.

I don't have a really low singing voice, so it's actually pretty soft sung.
(I think it's because i listen to a lot of Death Cab for Cutie ^_^ hhahaha).

Damn man, why dont you ever finish your WIP's?? Most of them are really good.. like white .

I love the feeling of this. Its like a dark tokyo or something. Something you would hear in an epic scene in japan or something lol.

However, at 1:03, one of the snare hits sounded weird. Like it clashed with the bass or something. Hopefully it's my speaker which is causing the problem, not the song. Kindly double-check?

Okay~~~~

I started on a new track! It's been a while since i wrote a track for myself.
I'm currently still working on Ninja Boy Returns (the WIP above these posts)
and I probably won't share it until it's used in ITG Rebirth (most likely).

Like i said though, here's what i started today and it feels good because
i haven't felt this feeling in a while. I feel like this track is full of my older style
of quick upbeat game music that i haven't done for a while (or it seems like a
quite a while).
