Alright so me and my friend decided that we should finally start to collaborate on our music. So he came over today and we finished this remix.

Our Remix is: Mnemosyne - You're Not Alone (The Creation Mix)

The style is pretty much UK Hardcore, and I think you shal really enjoy it.

Wow, well done on the hardcore track. Mixing is everywhere but the arrangement and composition is pretty solid

im.. so confused right now.. are you sure you arent listening out of like.. really bad headphones/speakers? I dont understand this concept of you thinking the levels/eqing is out of whack... this is mixed/mastered way better than anything Ive ever done.. I think your confused or something, because every other comment but yours is pretty much saying how its very well produced :S

Im really just not understanding where you are coming from, and im not just saying this because I personally think its well produced :S

Go tell that to pro artists who use presets on their synthesizers, many of which are the same sounds you hear on Nexus because they were used to record those sounds.

Hey, MesoPhunk here, I'm the other guy in Mnemosyne.

Indeed, I don't understand why people take a fit about presets. Think about guitars. Electric guitars, generally, sound like electric guitars, there's very little distinguishing one from another in terms of overall basic sound, without getting into complications like pedals and distortion effects added on in studio mastering. So we use presets, big whoop you wanna fight about it? The point is that we write our own original material, not a shred of Dream of Flight is from anything, we created it all apart from the lyrics and vocals. The presets just happened to suit our needs, and besides, they ARE slightly tweaked in the form of dropping or raising bass or treble among other things. You think bemani artists bother with this? Nope. I have most of L.E.D. and Ryu*'s synth patches, as well as a few of kors k's.

The beauty of production is picking other patches that go well with each other, not moaning and complaining because "OHEMGEE THAT'S TOTALLY NEXUS!!!!"

OK, my bad. It was a dumb thing to say. I use Nexus too.

But I'm phasing it out because it's severely limiting. It's hardly customizable in itself and its really annoying to have the exact same sound as someone else unless you're remixing their song.

But, no; no thread hikacking. Your song is great.

haha thanks man. Like I can see where youre coming from, I probably should vary it up a bit, but alot of times, those sounds really fit what im doing, so I just use them.

Oh well, thanks for uhh,,you liking the song :P
