I have a suggestion for you:
listen to a LOT of mainstream trance and try to copy what you hear. Your skills aren't bad they just need to be more well-tempered. This song isn't bad, but it feels generic the way instruments fade in and out. The melodies are a little weak cause it seems like you just made it up on the spot and liked how it sounded. I speak from experience when I say that hardly ever works. Try to find some tutorials on writing melodies and like I said, definitely listen to some mainstream stuff and try to copy that style. Another thing with trance is you should probably use "supersaw" or detuned saw leads. There isn't, afaik, a lot of good trance out there that doesn't.

've been getting into some Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren lately, so I am starting to get a feel for how that works, and I admit, the melodies were made up on the sopt. the last one that came in was actually part of a differernt song I was doing, I just combined the two songs. I suppose there's no 'shortcuts' in making good music, so I'll keep that in mind. Thanks.

lol darude. I really didn't find a "storm" and i didn't like the 32khz quality or w.e it was. It would be better if you had like a cool break with a fading in arp. And everything would go insane.
