Comments on my vocals

So I have this audition for All District Chorus this Saturday. I have to sing a small part of song named Gloria. I have recorded myself with the accompaniment, and scanned the sheet music of the part I have to sing.

My part in this song and my vocal range is bass.

I would like any constructive comments or suggestions you have. I really hope to get into All-District.

Here are some things I noticed while listening back to it.

Measure 18 - 20 [Laudamus te Benedicimus te] sounded a bit off-key to me. I could of done forte, and not make it sound a bit shouty.

The same goes for measure 22 and 23 [Glorifia mus te]. It sounds a bit strained, and I admit that I was straining a bit at that part.

I am going to try and make a better recording today. Seeing how I did that whilst having a tummy-ache...

Its really hard to hear your vocals over the piano granted im no expert in vocals it seemed fine but I couldn't really hear most of it. If you can make a recording (preferrably without the piano to hear you fine and one with to know what its supposed to sound with the paino) that would be great.

I do realize that. I need to mess around with the volume and balance it out more in ACID.

I shall make a better recording today.
