oh my bad! this is not the first mix i share on this board, wasn't told about this before! I'll go introduce myself!

wouldn't call it spam either, it's a free mix with tracks I bought, just want people to appreciate the music!

let me know what you think of the mix, feedback on my mixing and track selections is appreciated!

Spam was probably not the appropriate word, my bad. Just don't want drifters coming in and out

Downloading your mix

That I would love to hear we need more hardcore producers around these parts.

From a glance at your mix, your transitions are pretty solid, although I did notice on a few tracks that the harmonics were off, most notably in your first transition. For the most part, you can get away with it in clubs, but listening on monitors or headphones its pretty obvious.

Judging from your flawless levels, I can only assume you used a program for this mix right?

Edit: Listening to it a bit more I see your levels are a little off in some transitions (23:10). If this is really live this is pretty good man.

NICE call on the Anon track btw, I love that song

AND high five for See If I Care. That song is a BEAST! Fracus deserves so much more recognition than what he gets

Futureshock is amazing too

Actually I mixed this with 2 CDJ-100s and Gemini crappy mixer, recorded through my Konnekt 8 sound card. Been DJing on turntables and cdjs for about 4 years now, not every weekend, but with a total over 30 rave gigs over that period. So yeah, this mix is live, mixed with the old school techniques.

I've mixed out of town a bit, but sometimes I'd like to DJ in the states or something like that. Hence why I need to keep working hard on the producer side of things.

About the harmonics, that's a good call, it does sound kinda crappy and I noticed it as well, but I still went with those transitions for some unknown reasons... Just wanted this track to play after that track, hehe...

I hadn't mix at home in a couple of months until only a few weeks ago, but I'll keep the mixes coming and throw in some of my own stuff in there. Mixing and levels should tighten up. Also I'm beat with all the exams right now, so not much time to mix unfortunately!

The tracks you mentioned are available as mp3s by the way!

Anon - Iguana is available on hardbeatstore.com (and is actually a remix of a Mauro Picotto track by Darwin)
Fracus and Donna - See If I Care is available on SeriousSounds.net and is released by RFU Recordingz

Cheers for your interest in the mix!
