have you guys seen this? hobnox.com has this in-browser audio workstation desktop thing called audiotool. it's awesome.

Did you ever want to compose your own music? Sure. Did you ever do so? Right.
Here it is, it’ll supply you with an emulator of some famous little machines, used by DJs, producers and bands all over the planet. Right now, we can equip you with a rebuilt Roland TR-808, TR-909, TB-303 and some floorboards. Interested? Give it a try!
click the link above and then click the button that says "start audiotool demo." here's what the tool looks like:
you can move everything around and connect all the inputs and outputs wherever you want.
note: it's all very oldschool, as far as the "hardware" you're working with in the tool. here's a little sample of a track i made real quick: Houndbite
That's pretty cool, it's pretty funny how they conveniently place stickers over the numbers like we don't know what they are.
hah, yeah =D
you can see when you click on a device it shows the name of the device in the bottom of the window after "selected." maybe there's some kinda legal issue with accurately depicting a replica and including trademarked logos, as opposed to just referring to it in text... i dunno. it is really fun to mess around with. i look forward to more features, like the ability to save, and maybe even a tracker.
edit: for those who don't know, here's a picture of a real tb-303 bass line device. there are obvious necessary differences, of course.
zomg you guys, hobnox released a huge update.... check this shit out [screenshot]!! they improved it soo much.

Live recording of your tracks is finally possible. Choose your set-up, add, remove and arrange the devices you need and record your track to the ‚myFiles’ section of your Hobnox account. From there, publish and share. The first step towards timeline & sequencer, saving arrangments & remixing tracks is done!

edit: wow, and i love the (new?) bms feature that helps protect from dupe posting. kudos to that.
