as in what programs and instruments he uses.

does anyone know?

it's kind of hard to figure out

I know that 2 years ago (when I was over there for Rush Hour2 vs. UpSurge) he was using Nuendo 2 for his sequencer, though he may have upgraded to a newer version of Cubase since then; I don't know. As for synths, he has at least 20 outboard hardware units (though some of these are outboard limiters/FX). A lot of his sounds come from his Access Virus C and Roland Juno (can't remember which model... maybe Juno D or G?). A lot of his more realistic/orchestral sounds come from his Roland Fantom-X, such as the brass sounds in Don't Stop -kors k mix-.

Since then he has built a more established S2TB studio in his new house complete with vocal booth, so it's very likely he has a lot more now! Of course, the day he can compete with Sota Fujimori will be an interesting one.

my point is that unless its strictly hardware hes using, you can emulate his sound with any decent vst, emulate his structure with any daw etc etc. people always get hung up on what tools are used. theyre just different interfaces for doing the same job

Yep, using the exact same equipment kors k uses will not make you a good musician.

i'm not saying i'm going to use what he uses
i just make different music, and going from that to thisis a huge change

i wanted to get a general idea of what he used since i enjoy his music a lot

Totally agreed. kors k clearly has musical talent and it would show regardless of whether he had the flashy studio that he does, or a toy keyboard and a Minidisc recorder.

equipment matters but really not that much. I'd really say that it's harder to find good combination of equipment and softwarethat works together nicely for your goals.
