Here's a rough draft of "Blood Lullaby". This is the first time I've used dblue Glitch extensively and I must say, I like it This is probably the style my music will be shifting into, should I even decide to continue writing new material through the year.

The first half was fine but near the end the dblue parts sounded kinda corny

This reminds me of recent stuff by Skinny Puppy. I like it, it's pretty cool! You just need distorted vocals now :'D

This is just an experiment track after all Glitch is great, but there's so much to figure out yet. Thanks for the feedback.

protip: don't use presets on dblue and for the love of god don't use random (i'm fairly certain you didn't, but still lol)

also remember it works on instruments too and not just drums Sneak some clever gating and/or modulation onto a pad and you'll get some neat effects. I can't recall if you used it on any of the instruments but I'm just throwing the thought out anyway.

wow, this some really nice stuff. I have a friend who is really into the industrial scene, so I et to listen to alot of this. You did a good job of this. The glitchy random stuff was a really nice added touch. You just kinda need to give it some sort of ending. Anything would do nicely, but the whole, cutoff thing just doesn't work. It leaves you at an awkward "Did the download stop halfway through?" place. Other than that, this is some pretty amazing stuff. Keep it up.

Hey, thanks for the tip. Yeah, the glitch is actually on the master track for now. But I've heard how I could use it for a few other things. This is after all very influenced by Quake 3 music

Yeah, it's not finished yet. Actually, it will probably never get finished. Most of what I start just rots on my drive as practice sessions... though I thought I'd fish for some input

Thanks for the feedback guys. <3 BMS

How exactly did you use dblue glitch?

I downloaded it about a year ago and it puzzled me.
