Making your own music

Just remeber, unless you have a crapload of money and are willing to get both, you'll want to get whichever program has tools that you can work well with, which may just be FL since you've been working with the demo. i personally got lost trying to figure it out, but the reason demo was easy for me to pick up on. my point is, don't buy something because someone else tells you to, or it looks cool or whatever, get what you will do the best with, even if it isn't reason of FL.

FL Studio is a pretty great program, and yes, you're productions will sound pretty terrible the first couple of times. It takes practice, believe it or not. As far as tips, I highly recommend YouTube -- do a search for FL studio tutorial and look for some tutorials from Mr. Simon and NFX -- two guys who really know that program well.

Also, if you can get a hold of them, Native Instruments makes wonderful software-- Absynth 4 is a must have as the Fruity Loops synthesizer does the bare minimum of tasks.

My Christmas mix is a a pretty bad song i have to admit. I don't know, but i feel unsatisfied with it. Maybe consider removing it.

I gotta dumb question, does FL function the same as acid?
or do all music studios function like a timeline, cause I wanna get deeper into the threads of music and form it myself.
A couple of examples, like ugh, go to OCRemix (unofficial game music) and listen to a couple of those.

I tried the eletric piano and it is so hard to get to the piano to the computer, i need something more user-friendly.

If you're trance heavy or just saw heavy (buzzy sounds), I'd take a look at Vanguard or z3ta. I can't say enough good things about these two.

i listend to your song. Not a big fan of that genre. It was kinda boring. I'm the guy who likes a constant kick clap high hat stuff. Don't know how long you've been making music so i can't really tell ya anything cept for keep it up!
