New Song (Original) - Never Look Back

I started this song yesterday. Basically the story behind the progression, is that something really bad happened in this persons life, and this then decides to just look forward and never back, but while he is looking forward, you still hear parts of his past still in the back of his mind.

yup there is a story behind this lol.

Anyways check it out. Starts off kind of dark, then everything kind of picks up. Though at the very end it slows down again for one last little look behind XD.

Okay listening! hahah!

Nice string pad in the intro, really sets up nicely when the beat comes in.

WOW! VERY NICE transition to the new upbeat section. I'm really
groovin' my head with this. Great synth work and love the saw snippets
near the end section.

What is that sound in the intro end (sounds like Traces' "hollow" saw).
I like that sound ^_*

I was hoping it would be longer since it was totally sweet, but besides that,
GREAT WORK!

Okay, I'll be the bad guy and give the critiques, then.

For some reason, and I've noticed this across a number of your tracks, the percussion comes off almost overwhelming. Here, especially around 1:45, the hat seems especially loud. Earlier in the track, it was the bass drum. For this song, though, it feels like the melody should drive the track instead. And it is an excellent melody, so let it shine through a bit more!

Don't get me wrong... as before, I do like it, and you've done some excellent writing here. It's just that I'm having trouble getting over the overwhelming percussion.

On more of a side note, to think that this song was written by the same guy who did Splash Beats... it shows that you've made a lot of progress! Keep up the awesome work!

Also that comment about being the same guy that made splash beats... are you saying splash beats sucks? lol :P

lol. Splash Beats didn't suck (I reserve that distinction for people like Tiger M or v00d00ppl), but it's definitely not on the same level as your newer stuff. And this is certainly a good thing.
