just recently 'finished' a new song i've been working on, robogalactic. i would like some feedback on it...any suggestions, comments, and smart-alec remarks are greatly appreciated. thanks!

First thing I'm going to do is bash you on tagging this with both trance and techno; they're (generally) mutually exclusive and mistaking one for the other makes EDM fans cringe, haha.

As for what you've got going here song wise, I'm liking what's going on with the melody but not the chord progression; there just isn't any and what's there is boring. The melody could turn into some nice minimal, though.

Besides that, not too much to comment on I'm afraid.

P.S. You're leaning more techno than trance. Techno can drone on for a while, but trance has to have a progression.

you have a lot of work to go through yet, and that's good.

broken arps seemed really nice to me. speaking about the whole piece and it's contents, i'd mention that you really have to try to spend more time making a track. as i can see you can write kind of chords progressions and melodies, but if you want to start improving now you need to get more instruments into the track and to try to get them sound friendly to each other, making the musical picture shine by melodies not by your synths — you need to add more "events" so to say, trying to tell a story. right after you'll manage it, you will need to get your sound better, but for now that's a piece of my advice.

Actually, there is tech trance. Sorry man, you can blend the boundaries for sure. :V
