My name is P34C3M4KER and I'm all about fusion: analog and digital, genres, whatever; that's what i'm about. I've produced in a number of styles in the past, but now I'm somewhere between MSTRKRFT and Gangsta Rap.

Plus I'm now using some nice headphones, so my levels are correct.

One of the best albums I've listened to in a very long time. My favorites have to be Rockstars Feel that Way, I Wish this was a Battle Royale, Public Science Announcement, and Don't Stop.

Fix the clipping, though.

EDIT: And fix the folder compressing crap.

EDIT2: Everyone that listens should take into consideration that this album is so bass heavy and intentionally distorted that it clips like crazy on smaller speakers, especially on headphones.

I only got about halfway through the album before my ears got too tired to listen anymore. Honestly overlimiting stuff to make it loud and distorted is just a generally bad idea. Look up some videos on the "loudness war" on youtube and you'll see why.

This is just a gripe but the files could be better organized and tagged.

Other than that, your sampling & mashing skills are great man. I love "Rockstars Feel That Way", "I Wish This Was a Battle Royale", and "Public Science Announcement"

Keep up the good work, but if you want your bass to be louder, just turn down the gain on the other stuff! Don't push the bass up.

following on what Helix said (and what I've said before), the ideas and composition/arrangement of your tracks are really fucking solid, but the mixing is pretty awful. What are you using exactly to monitor your levels? You may want to look for something else.

Thanks for the comments everyone- i've been mixing on a pair of creative speakers with a sub, which, as it turns out, doesn't deliver a very flat sound. Listening to it on my speakers, it sounds fine, but the second I got a pair of headphones to try it with, I saw what you guys were talking about. Gonna give remastering a go when I have access to something that will produce a flat sound on a consistent basis.

So I've recently spent an enormous amount of time both producing music and researching production techniques. This is the first time I've been able to actually capture the sound I've been trying to move towards, so I would love to hear your comments on it.

Oh, and your ears are safe, I'm mixing on some nice headphones as well as just actually mixing and producing at a somewhat higher level, so I doubt anyone's ears will be bleeding.

If you folks haven't checked the songs out yet, they're freaking hot. Rooted in hip hop, yes, but I don't know anyone here who couldn't appreciate the amount of thought that goes into each. It's not your typical "boom-buh-boom-boom ... boom ..."

And the production doesn't suck anymore.
