Default Question about headphones.

So I was thinking of buying some Sony MDR-V150 Monitor Series Headphones and I was wondering if they are decent to just have. They are p. cheap and that is why I was wondering if they are good.

Have a pair, and they're absolute crap. Mud, mud, mud. No lows, no highs .. just mud. I use them as a last resort pair, but if that's what you want, run with it.

another question about headphones out of sheer curiousity. Are skullcandies quality headphones masked beneath a scene kid fad, or are they just supposed to be pretty? they have a "DJ Headphone" category and I was wondering if they were crap. not like I need them, mine are great =3

i also have a pair i bought them about 6 months ago def not worth the 20$ i paid for em. Theyre casual headphones at best, would not recommend them unless youre paying less then 5$

I would also like to know about the skull candy headphones.

I had a pair of the smokin buds earbuds, and they were okay, but the volume control kept getting caught on things. I also thought the Ti headphones were okay, but they cut into my jawbone, and I sold them to a friend for super cheap. I didn't think the sound on either them was terrible, but the sound I got from the Sennheiser earbuds I got next was better. Not that I loved those either, because they just got caught on everything and fell out for every reason in the book.

Now I just use a pair of JVC clip-ons, because they're cute and they stay on. I mostly listen to music on the bus, so sound quality doesn't matter all that much since it's noisy anyway.

In conclusion, I would say that the Sennheisers sounded the best out of everything I bought, but I just hate earbuds.

Senheisers for audiophiles and studio monitoring, and Technics for dj monitoring.

Trust me

I work in a retail outlet that sells skullcandy headphones.

They're sold exclusively through specific stores that bought the rights to sell them. Our store buys them at nearly 90% less than retail price.

They're made of thin plastic and lousy wiring.

Conclusion: only buy if you're a hopeless scenester wanting to look hardxcore.

this..

I've used these for the past 2 years and they've worked great:
Amazon.com: Sennheiser HD 202 Headphones: Electronics

They finally shorted out a few months ago, so I saw it as an opportunity to upgrade to these:
Amazon.com: Sennheiser eH350 Open-Aire HiFi Stereo Headphones: Electronics

Of which I also really enjoy.

I'm using Grado's SR-60's. Cheap, affordable, and great sound quality if you're not into much electronic music.

just go to Head-Fi: Covering Headphones, Earphones and Portable Audio - Powered by vBulletin. post a topic with the following info: music you listen to most, where you'll use it, and your budget.

They're a really helpful bunch. I've finally decided on the SR-60s because of them.

Aren't SR-60s like... 80USD?
