I've been lurking for quite a while again. I got sick of a bunch of stuff in the community, and had some stuff to deal with in the real world, so it's been a hell of a long time since I've posted here. Mainly, I've been trying to work on my portfolio, so I've got a pretty diverse array of unreleased music. I figure I might as well start to release some of it- what's the point in sitting on all your music and not letting anybody else hear it?

So I give you the theme to MegaPuzzleWorld- which doesn't really exist, but sounds like it could. Somewhat Cutesy handheld puzzle game title screen music.

I see you opted for the "puzzle" theme instead.

I'll take what I said before and make it public: it's perfect for what it's intended for. It's well put together. It's like you had a vision for it and you executed perfectly, which is great for what you're aiming for in the future. You can definitely take something, and write music for it. I'm quite jealous.

Two things though, both relating to drums

1) The hi hat as it is is a bit .. meh. It's just there, and it's tick-tick-tick-tick .. not sure you'd really want to change that, but it's sort of prominent. Maybe a bit softer would help? Mind you, that could be a completely personal thing.

2) Would you consider trying a different drum pattern? Nothing wrong with the one you have now, but I could see a funky beat working too.

Beyond that, it's great. I'd like you to write me a theme song one day.

I think the song works perfectly for what you intended it to be. My only problem is that it fades out instead of loops.

I can totally play a puzzle game to this! Man, this is freakin' sweet!

On another note, i could also see this as a "Final Result" screen BGM.

anyways, I absolutely love it. I love the loud snareish type sound, and how it sticks out. I also like the scratches. Also, YES!, I think you caught the mood perfectly, this is totally a puzzle game type song. Awesome.

This totally reminds me of Super Puzzle Fighter music for some reason. I can see the chibi characters and giant colorful blocks falling down in my mind XD
