Lately I've thought about the idea that I should start cutting down songs from their long versions to some other shorter version. Whether it could be used for people making steps for StepMania or just listening purposes. As time goes by I might add to this list because I'd like your guys' opinions on the cut down versions of the songs I edit. Also, not just oinions but I would hope if you guys could listen to the song and tell me if you notice a 'glitch' in the music. Many of the times I will upload the cut version and the original version of a song I edit so you can create comparison between the songs, but sometimes due to restrictions on certain songs I am not allowed to upload the original version of a song.

'Cry For You' was my second project song. This song was a bit easy to edit because not much goes on in it.
That's basically all I have to say about this one.

I also worked a little bit with 'Pumpin' Rabbit Express (Ryu* vs Teranoid)'.
I tweaked it a bit and I was able to cut it from 3:08 to 2:04. The first edit I made for it was 1:46, but I decided to add an intro to it from the previous song in the CD.

I wanted to create a shorter version of 'Promised Land (Teranoid Mix)' for the heck of it. I like this song so much because of the part in the middle.. but in order to make this song shorter, I had no choice but to delete my favorite part in the entire song. O'well... I guess that's how IIDX and Pop'n artists feel whenever they have to cut down a song for DDR and they might have to take out the best part out of the original version. This song was really hard to edit and took me about 3 to 4 hours to think this through. A really difficult project this was for me. Please let me know if there are any glitches in this one, especially this one. Anyways... Enjoy! =D

It was sort of difficult but I managed with this song. 'Skip 2 the...' by Teranoid & MC Natsack was a hard song to edit because this song was connected by LOTS of 1/12th sounds and that's what kind of tipped me off during the editing of this song. Well, I hope you like it because this one was quite an obstacle for me. Oh, and lately I've been trying to cut down songs from OST's of Bemani artists. Mainly Teranoid & MC Natsack's music because their music is awesome. Enjoy!

This one was a tough one to start off. It took me about 20 minutes to figure out from what part of the song I should begin to edit with. It sucks for me that I had to take off the really good part around the beginning of the song. 'Hyptonize' was one hell of a crazy song. Getting the timing correctly with all the sounds in this song was hectic. I would [strangely] say that editing this song wasn't harder than editing 'Skip 2 the...', but it was quite a challenge. Really, the only thing that threw me off the most was the fact that there was so much near each 1/4th beat that I couldn't quite connect the song that well, and also starting off the song was difficult, as you just read. Because starting the song was the hardest task for me, I had no choice but to use a 'Fade In' effect. [I don't like adding fades into my song unless they go real well with the song or unless I have no choice but to use 'em, and in this case I had to use one] Enough of my talking about the editing of this song. I can't say it was fun or exciting or anything to edit this song. It wasn't hard, but then it wasn't easy. "Scar", which is from Teranoid & MC Natsack's: Teranoid Overground Edition album, is a really good song. The first time I heard it, I fell in love with the way the lyrics were sung in this song. Nice melody to it. Every sound connected smoothly with eachother in this song, well sort of... and I really had trouble which part to edits and stuff. It's hard for me most of the time to see what I am supposed to move around or cut off from the song, since I try my best to limit my songs to be less than 2:30 long. This one turned out to be 2:47, but throughout all the progress I was making while editing this song, the edited version just kept getting better and better. I'd say this is one of my best edits so far. By the way, this is track #8 from the Overground edition album. Enjoy!
