It's not too shabby. You've come far since What Lies Inside.

My only issue with it is that it's technically not a "remix" because it's entirely too similar to the original. Usually a remix just takes the main melody/vocals/theme from a song and makes it a whole new song or style.

Remaking (or "covering") songs is good practice, especially for learning how to make certain sounds with synths and whatnot.

I'm a remixer, and I personally think it's fair to call this a remix... That's just my take; remixes aren't necessarily radically different. When in doubt, you can say it's rearranged to be on the safe side.

Agreed. This remix is really good and i'd love to see it stepped. About 1:27 into the song it gets enjoyable

Actually, you did a surprisingly good job on this. I agree that when the SD melody comes in at like 1:22, the song gets really fun. Nice synthwork and choice of synths.
