It's not that I have no creativity, it's that I have a hard time transfirring my ideas into something tangable, rather than ideas.
My room is full of sheet music, and excerpts to wonderful ideas I come across in school, I just need help putting these into physical tracks.
As I am now dabbling into complicated R&B (New Jack Swing, to be exact), FL Studio is starting to be limiting, as with vocal tracks. My "Why" demo is a perfect example.
I mean, I can still sequence some more simplistic songs, but they turn out shitty.
Synclavier is also complicated with R&B. I love it sometimes, when it works with me, but other times it's a pain in the ass.
My girlfriend and I created a song called "Cyber Space Station" solely on the synclavier, and it sounded amazing.
I believe the synclavier is ideal if you want a fake sounding synth, but the thing is a let-down for $3,000 (I didn't pay for it, it's my friends).
Here's a demo of the synclavier synths. This is one of my "I am bored so I'll fool around with the synclavier" moments.
The bell synths are from Fruity Loops 3...
