I would also like to take this time to note that Sciaphobia now has more listens than the 2nd best prog trance song of all time on AP's charts. Whoever the fuck keeps listening to it, please stop. It's actually kind of annoying now.

very nice. I should try learning the drum pattern. Hey question. Would it be possible for you to send me an mp3 of just the music, and one of just the drums (i.e. music without drums, and drums without music) I wanna learn the drums and see if I can play them for real life XD. That would be cool. Anyways. I really like it actually. Nice melodies, sweet bass, and drums are awesome .

Edit: If you can do this, actually leave those umm wood block hits in the music and out of the drums. I couldnt play those while playing the drums as well XD.

I could probably do this, since I have approximately nothing to do today. It's really three drum-kits playing at different intervals, so it won't be easy to get them all at once. I assume you'd want the reverse crashes taken out as well?

Well I now realize that the main drum-line isn't completely doable on set, maybe it is if your left hand is fast enough.

haha, well ok lets do this. Can you make me a version just with the drums taken out (except for the wood hit thingys, and maybe the reverse cymbals. Then I'll just make my own drums for it (irl) and upload it to youtube sometime XD.

make the gated synth more 303'd and increase its velo. Also, get better drum samples. Those two things alone could propel this song into legendary status instead of just really damn good status.

The drum samples are just Vengeance Essential Club Sounds. I'll admit the main snare is probably crap, but also I don't really have money to buy samples or know where to get free ones.

Also, define "more 303'd" for the main synth. At that, there are several synths in the song, tell me which one you see is the 'main' one.


EDIT: Did a little remastering on synths and drums, threw in a couple new elements that I realized I missed. I may have completely fucked up the main synth but ah well.

This is pretty awesome. Although all the elements are well put together, it sounds like it's missing some sort of background element.

EDIT: Listened again. I think the gated synth should be a bit louder. Also, I know you were going for realistic breaks, but I can imagine this song being better with more percussives to back the main break.
