Default [SYMPHONIC TRANCE] - Cloudy Eyes

Cloudy Eyes, created by Arctures and presented through ACIDplanet.com

Just to forewarn you, I'm gonna get really indignant about any negative criticism this time D: More 9+ minute trance coming your way, I honestly didn't intend for it to be this long. I suppose I could shorten it if it's really necessary.

Although you mentioned to skip ahead to around the two minute mark, your entire intro was one of the greatest things about this song. Fantastic. I'm almost willing to call this "Epic Trance" because of it.

Once the song started kicking in, the first thing I realized on my monitors was that the lows were a bit too much, especially when the bounce bass and the kick were playing. While I LOVED the synths you used, there were a lot of moments where it sounded "off" (note/key wise). I think you should work on the note progression a little more to make it flawless. Otherwise, really fun piece.

Personally, I find nothing wrong with the melodies. They're not standard to trance progressions, but when was the last time you heard a V7 chord in anything electronic?

The kick is too loud and punchy on my speakers, you gotta tune them down a bit.

Personally, this song was begging for a nice crazy piano line. There was so much more you could have done with it.

But in any event, it's a very good song.
