I felt I should post this, as it is one of my most memorable moment I have ever had.

At my school, for auditions into the school choir, I have to sing in front of my choir teacher and a panel of judges, and my teacher records it onto his computer.

I made the choir, on first try. I sang Michael Jackson's Gone too Soon. I did the vocals in one setting, no previous practice, and managed to cry a little too near the end (heh)... It doesn't sound as good as it could, but, hey, recorded in one setting, when most everyone else did there's 5 or 6 times over, practicing for months on end...

I really do think I got lucky...

Anyway here it is:

P.S. Sorry for all of the hissing in the background, the room was very noisy. Oh, and a stereo track too.

Aww don't say that Tetris. We weren't trying to be mean or anything, we're just trying to make this part of Bemanistyle a little more organized and friendly.

You might be able to run the vocals through a de-esser or a noise-gate and get rid of that hissing.

Yes, you can't leave us! You're one of the few people bold enough to sing! (Helix is a big, warm, fuzzy guy. He only means love.)

The hissing is probably the mic being turned up too much. You can solve this by turning down the input, and adding a compressor to the chain. This way, your voice won't trail off either - you'll have a nice sustained volume that sounds strong the whole way through.

The new rule wasn't a turn-off. I have my reasons. I still will post lyrics in the Writing section though. Maybe someday in a few months I'll come back to the Music Production forum.

Still, you shouldn't leave! The instrumental is awesome

. You have a pretty decent voice. You should try recording on a better microphone so we can hear that voice! Nice work, i wish i had vocals like you and was not always Dependant on autotune.

awww, i almost cried, such pretty instrumentation. hmm, by any chance, do you do anything related to musicial theatre? you have the perfect voice for it.
