Default Untitled Breakbeat Demo

Hello to the board. How've you been?

I haven't been around all summer ... something I really regret, actually.

At any rate, I've got a demo going. Not quite sure what to call it yet, but I'm pretty happy with where it's going so far.

Not the greatest for instrument variation, as percussion is probably it's stronger point at the moment, but I'd still love to hear all of your suggestions, comments and feedback.

Vary the velocity a bit on your drums and insturments, play a bit more with stereo separation, add more of a reverb to your 303, raise the volume on the pads by a bit. Also, especially during the breakdown, variety in your precussion patterns is your best friend. Well produced, but also lacking in melodic complexity. add a few more synths to liven it up. Want to Collaborate sometimes?

Always up for it, but never have time ... :/

I appreciate it though, as well as the feedback.

Any other comments are welcome.

What, no download link? :V

But yeah... seconding Red. Lacks complexity, variation, yada yada yada. I know. It's a demo. FINISH IT. You're good enough to make it sound awesome.

It reminds me quite a bit of Time Splitters 2... the background music at the menu. I dunno. I just get that feeling.

Agreeing with everyone else.

Sounds like something I'd like to remix once it's finished.

I just heard the beginning, what program did you use to make this? It sounds like a similar fighting game of some sort, only it's not in any fighting game.
