Hey guys.

I'm new in this production community, so I thought I'd post some of my stuff. I'm really looking for feedback, so I can become a better artist. I take criticism well, so please tell me what you think. I really appreciate it, guys.

Newgrounds stuff

I could put it up in a .rar or something for you guys if it would be easier. Thanks again for listening, guys! :-D

Haven't gotten a chance to listen to much, but I did just check out Cleo's Mistake.

It seems a *slight* bit.. well, empty. Also, some of the effects and synths you use seem to clip a bit, as well as cause a bad resonance. Trying working on the sound a little bit. Finally, it's just a tad bit repetitive.

With that being said, it has GREAT potential. I really love your bass and I love what you were going for with the effects. Something I'd definitely enjoy in the club. Just need to work on keeping your sound well equalized as well as spicing it up a bit.

Sorry I haven't gotten much of a chance to listen to more. I'll edit this or something when I do.

Thanks for the feedback, dude. I'm actually still in the process of trying to figure out how to "un-thin" my sound, like make it fatter, and more space-filling. That being said, it is a little boring, and I know that. :-P But, do my synths only clip when I have the HP filter and rez up? I don't know if there's any clipping otherwise...

Yeah, rez has a lot to do with clipping. Too much can kill. Try working with messing with rez and cut to get a good blend of sound and effect without getting the clipping. Usually automating both at the same time produces some nice results.

As for making your stuff fatter, spreading sounds out across left and right channels as well as using reverb (but not too much, I have a problem of this :P) can make your track sound fuller.

So, I know I'm not around this forum as much as I should be, but I thought I'd still see what you guys think of one of my newer tracks.

It's "hardcore", and it's 180BPM. I tried to give it a really sinister feel...I dunno.

I really want some input on it. If you can do that, I'd appreciate it very much.

Hey, I have a new track that I would LOVE some input to: Send big files the easy way. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!

Thanks if you listen, and sorry for the ridiculous bump.

It's a hardcore track @ around 180BPM.

For a hardcore track, it seems like half the song is an intro. After the breakdown it seems pretty directionless as well. You have the idea though, and I like the textures and dirty snare/kick fills you put here and there. I can definitely tell you were influenced somewhat by j-core.

I'm assuming Break Away is your hardstyle song. It doesn't really sound like hardstyle, you got some brass and pianos lol. I say the beginning was the only hardstyle part about the whole song. This song as the Chemist stated, was quite directionless. It's not bad though. Good job!

Yeah, Break Away was an EARLY attempt at Hardstyle. I think Shizuku Ippai no Kioku remix is a better attempt at it. :-D

thanks for the critique though, guys!

Hrmm .. you know, it's not bad. You have a lot of really great ideas that have been put into this, but I think the lead synth kills it all. Absolutely kills it. It's giving me a headache. On the melody side, it seems like it doesn't play with the plucked synth and bassline you have going at times.

Also, I think you're missing crashes. Mmm .. and I'm not sure what to think of the flanged hihats, if that's what they are .. they kick in at 1:37.

Nice atmosphere. Nice transitions. Nice composition. With a little more love (and a different lead), you're solid.

P.S. Killer kick rolls. You totally nailed them.

Hey guys. It's been a while. I have some new material that I'd like to share with you guys, and, of course, look for some input. I think I'm finally getting the hang of this stuff...

Echoes of Disdain (Think of a "techno-waltz")

Yeah Go Time! - A Hardcore track, more along the lines of UK Hardcore than gabber or such.

To Say Goodbye - A Hard Trance track with a LOT of crazy stuff going on.

Again, any comments would be awesome, guys.
