dude, the virus, and specifically the atomizer is probably the single illest innovation in recent music history.

The atomizer itself, while being pretty cool, isn't anything new. You can pull this off running the virus through any good software on a computer. Sure, its cool that its standalone, and the possibilities for live performance are infinite, its still not anywhere near as innovative (or cool for that matter) as the synthesizer itself.

I'd kill someone in front of their mother to have one :|

I'm all about live performance and merging digital, and analog, and that means, in whatever way possible, I'm all about performing. Yes, stutter effects and what not have been possible, but not in this way before. Also, I feel like this is a lot more like expressing yourself through an instrument and a lot less like writing down some sheet music. being able to do and record the shit on the fly, from an instrument- that's what I mean when I say its the most important thing. It is basically like the invention of a new instrument
