Marketplace Rating: 0 | Whoah! - 2nd song for ddr Comp Alright, style is... I have no clue. Probably closer to a slowish happy hardcore / house.. / something? really if anybody has any clue as to the style/genre of this, let me know :P
Anyways, its a pretty fun 5/4 type song. Kinda bouncy, interesting rythms and the such.
I havent been able to master it up with my usual speakers (only head phones so far), but I'll probably do so sometime this weekend.
Let me know what I could fix/improve, you know the drill :P. DJ SymBiotiX - Whoah!

The song is cute and neat, but it becomes kind of boring after a certain point. Everything sounds a bit too similar and repetitive. Also, the piano is really great, love it.
Overall however, it doesn't seem to have that dance feeling at all. I never really got pumped up listening to it. This is by no means bad, but I don't think it's suitable for DDR without some crucial changes.
Nonetheless, it's a really good song.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | as for the ddrness of the song, Im going for more of a unique feel instead of a dancy feel. I dunno lol, I figure it will be a unique entry in the grand scheme of things.

To be honest, this would fit much better in ITG or Pump it up anyway.

I have mixed feelings about this track. I honestly just don't like the style.

You have interesting melodies (especially towards the end), but man, a lot of this sounds......really cheap. I'm not sure if you were aiming for that, but it doesn't sound good to me.
I prefer you other track to be frank

Personally I love it :P, I think its a new concept. I know I havent really heard anything like it before.

I strongly agree about the sounds sounding cheap. This honestly sounds really amateur. There's no real depth to the music. It's been called unique in this thread, but I can't find anything unique about it. It just sounds like an extremely generic piece translated into 5/4, and that itself is in some points done poorly. There also seems to be very little depth to most of it in the first place.
I apologize, but this is no winner.

Which pretty much tells me exactly what I said above, its pretty much a black/white type of song. Obviously, this isnt the community that enjoys something like this, and its not like anybody has to like it.
Thanks for the comments anyways
Edit: Also, song names dont need proper spelling! :P

The only important thing is if you like the song.

You vary things up a lot, which is good, but because of that, it also feels a bit improvised. Spontaneity is always good, but it doesn't come together to portray a theme. I don't ever really get a feel for a direction with the song.
Sorry, dude. Much love, but I have to sit this one out too.
