WIP FF7 Mako Reactor - Green Poison (Anyone want in on making this?)

Alriht so I started this remix of the Mako Reactor Song from FF7, and I wanna know if anybody out there wants to collab on this with me. I think it would be great if I could get 2 different styles going in to this remix and make something wickedly awesome!

SGX and Sefire already made a remix of this, I wanna collab with somebody here and I'm sure we could come up with something just as good if not better. So who wants to give it a shot?

I'll hop in. It just so happens I have a (legal) version of Final Fantasy VII on my computer... and after scanning the files of the program, I found a couple soundfonts. Who knew they used SF2's for the game?

Also a couple .WAV's, and plenty of LGP files, which I hear qhimm has designed a program to read and manipulate.

Sooo... if you happen to be working with FL, I'd love to see what I can do. At the very least, I could send a couple of possibly-helpful files your way.

Midi can work for collabs, its just a bitch to coardinate. I actually did a remix of this song a long time ago, and as of right now (since its early in the draft) I'd say you should bring out the main synth more, as it is being overwhelmed by the precussion, currently

what "main synth" are you talking about, cause I'm sure I dont even have a synth in there untill about 1:42, unless you mean the piano.

Also, I would like to see this remix that you made.

I'll see if I can find it, and I meant by main synth one that I apparently subconciously edited in. The one that goes- do doo do DI doooooooooo.... do doo doo DI do do do do di do do do di do do do do di do do do do. It may be a piano.

yea its probably the piano. Its just really distorted and it plays at like C1, so I'm having a hard time making it more prominent. I dont wanna turn up the volume cause it will just overpower everything else.

I like the metal KLANG sound as well, but when it speeds up, it seems
a little overwhelming. Are you planning to bring in another snare later?
I thought adding some sort of distorted hit would be a nice addition with the
metal Klang ^_^

Looking forward to hearing the total remix once someone else hops in on this.

Rar. Dropped off the FF7 Soundfonts. Enabled MIDI action. I'll see what I can do when it comes to composing. Without Reason, though, someone else may have to do the mastering. But again, I'll see what I can do.

Aardvark Assault + DJ SymBiotiX = Symbiotic Aardvarks?

Thanks to the soundfonts, though, the klang issue mentioned should be resolvable. THIS IS LOOKING GOOD!
