Default Best "Smart Phone" on Verizon's Network?

Alright, so I got stuck with the Chocolate after a tragic incident with my Moto V710, and after using the thing for a total of 4 months, I hate this thing.

Does anyone have any experience with the any of the Smart Phones that Verizon offers? I.E. the Motorola Q, or any of the Treos. I'm currently leaning away from the Q because of the Micro SD and supposed awful battery life, but the Treo seems to have strife in its users between the Palm OS users and the Windows Mobile users, and it all makes me even more lost Which OS will get me better applications? I can only imagine that Windows Mobile will. . . but I figure I'll ask that while i'm here. Any help?

I am of the firm opinion that because of branding on Verizon's network, there is no such thing as a Verizon smart phone.

However, since youre looking for an answer that doesnt like, suck, I guess Ill point out that the Q is rather nice. Ive played with a few, It does exactly what it should (which is surprising for a Microsoft Software based device) and nothing it shouldnt.

Yea, we're kinda stuck with verizon for a couple more years D:
But you say the Q has good functionality? I'll definitely take a look into it, the real two big things that I've heard and am not to keen on are the MicroSD (I've got a 8 gig SD card sitting here D and the supposed awful battery life.

Yeah, being with Verizon, your choices are extremely limited. Your best bet is probably the Q.

Whatever you do, don't get the Treo 700w. I have the Treo 700wx which is Sprints version of the phone and I hate it.

My company has a lot of Moto Qs that I always have to set up and they seem to work fine. Of course the battery will last about half the day, so make sure you get plenty of chargers and batteries.

i have a Q and its alright. for the record its MINI SD not micro. battery life sucks so better get an extended battery and youll do fine but if ur stuck with the stock battery like me grab a program called Candlelight and turn off ur bluetooth when ur not using it. as far as phones go i couldnt be happier with it. i went from T720 > V710 > E815 > Q. hope this info helps

EDIT: just wanted to let u know that even if u do the candlelight and bluetooth things its not gonna make a huge difference so i really recommend u get that extended battery. see: Seidio Extended Battery With Door For Q (3200mAh, Silver), #BD2-BABV32MTQ - MobilePlanet
