Marketplace Rating: 0 | Card Reader Not Working I posted this problem in another thread but it obviously didn't get seen, so I'm opening a new one. I bought this card reader a month back, and it's a really good reader, however with it plugged in, my PC will not boot properly/at all.
Here's a picture of my motherboard (ASUS M2V):
Now I'm assuming that the reader plugs into the header (labeled 1), but if I do that, my PC doesn't boot properly, if at all.
I've also noticed a second possible place where it could go, just underneath the third PCI slot (labeled 2). All the pins and everything match up and it works (that is, after I've had to restart it due to it always crashing after the BIOS screen).
I really don't know where I'm supposed to put it, the instructions are shit and only really tell you how to mount it into the case.
Can anyone help at all?

Also, make sure you don't have something in the bios messing with it.
You have lots of computer problems

I'll check the mobo when I get home and report back.
Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the reply. | you know, ASUS has their manuals for download from the internet, and those manuals would tell you what that connector is.

So basically they're the same, the difference being that one is 78 and the other 56.

And that was half a year ago.
