Dunno where to post this (Tatsujin recording help)

I was just wondering in general what's the cheapest or the easiest way to record videos from your TV onto a computer ready to upload on youtube or anywhere?

In example, some tatsujins have the screen shown, while they record the hands with a video camera (two different perspectives with a screen in screen thing going on)

I know how the methods generally work but don't know how to get the equipment or how to do it myself...

Methods I know as of right now:
VCR -> turn to DVD -> computer
capture card -> ??? -> computer
gamebridge -> ??? -> computer
camera -> aim at tv -> computer

I was thinking of buying a laptop purely for video editing/my photo projects so it would be neat to know what I should buy for this kind of thing.

I would mainly be using it to record brawl matches and IIDX/pop n' game play just for fun :<

I use a minidv cam and the software it comes with it (hopefully) should be enough to capture Digital video via usb 2.0 or firewire. Most minidv cams should come with a video input so you can go TV to minidv to computer. probably not the most efficient way to do it but it works for me. Otherwise get a video tuner card for PC.

Do you know if tuner cards can go into a laptop or something because I don't think any cables can reach from my PC to my TV
