Also Alt-Tab Replacement PowerToy. It displays a thumbnail of the window you're about to switch to, kinda like Alt Tab for Vista, but not the same color as your windows.

D: Are you serious? When I went through my open-source/freeware phase I tried to use Paint.NET and it said 64-bit Windows was required.

... Unless there's some other Paint alternative that I'm mixing it up with, but know any others so...

Loads of people use Paint.NET, and not many people use 64-bit Windows, so it must work somehow.

I agree.

Or if not, then it's usual one program compatible to many flavors.

Ey guys, I remember there was a program called TweakUI (was very popular during the Win98 SE era).

Is it still available (esp. for XP Pro)???

EDIT:
Oh yeah, I forgot

It's part of the XP Powertools thingy.

While we're on the subject, out of curiosity, does anyone know of any programs that actually require 64-bit Windows and won't work on 32-bit?

Catalogue of 64-bit Software

Most of the stuff has 32-bit variations, but they had to be recoded and suck balls.

Question:

If you want to burn an AVI file or some other kind of video file to a DVD so you could watch it on your average DVD player, what program should I use?

EDIT: Nvm, I found something good called DVD Flick, even though I haven't tried it yet.

The shell extension for XnView is exactly what I've been looking for when it comes to image manipulation in a hurry. With it it becomes possible to upload images to ImageShack, resize and/or convert formats and even set images to desktop wallpaper while maintaining aspect ratio all in a single right-click.

Question: What's one of the best anti virus softwares? It doesn't have to be free. If I were to get a new PC, I would probably go with Norton, but I know the mainstream probably isn't the best... What do you guys recommend?

Hmm... I have NOD32 on my current desktop, but I can't update it. I guess I'll go with that then.
