I copied some pictures from my Phone onto my MicroSD card, and then inserted the card into my computer. I was shown that the folder was empty... however, it recognized that space was being taken up on the card. You'll see what I mean by looking at the picture:
And then, actually inside the folder:
I checked the card, it's not set to read only, nor are any of the files invisible. What's going on?

Are you able to get the card recognized in one try every time? When I connect a MicroSD card into my computer, I sometimes have to disconnect it several times to get it to register.
Make sure the files are not hidden. Which can be changed under folder options
If the microsd card is bad, it could have a damage file table which caused your data to go corrupt and not show up (MAYBE). If that is the case there is some software that can try to recover it.
I figured out a... very odd solution to the problem. In order to get the files to appear on the memory card, you must edit the picture on the phone... then save the edited photo to the card.
Direct copying for some reason doesn't work.
