Default Firefox crashing on a Mac

I have a Macbook running 10.4 and Firefox seems to crash a lot. Maybe even every day, though I don't keep count that much. Does anybody else have this issue?

Also, would it be relevant that I don't shut the thing down that often? I'm not sure how bad of a habit that is...I like leaving my AIM away message up all night for people to leave messages, but I suppose if it's a bad idea I could stop.

I used to have that issue, but my Firefox seems to be running fine. Also, I'm using a Mac 10.3.9

Speaking of Firefox, has anyone had any issue with tabs as of 2.0.0.14? It seems that if I open so many tabs such that they extend beyond the length of the screen, the layout of the page breaks and the scrollbar moves out of reach.
