Default Free burning Software

hey guys, I have been using NERO on my old computer, bud sadly the NERO I had does not run on Vista, so now I need to find a program that can simply burn a DVD from a DVD (I am only using DVD's that have no protection, and coaster image, which is a free DVD to burn).

So my simple question is, does anyone know any free software I could download that I could use to burn DVD's?

Also I do not need ripping software, I already have that... if that helps.

The Official ImgBurn Website

It's DVD Decrypter without any ripping capabilities.

that one does not seem to convert the files to a smaller size, so the files wont fit on the disc. Thanks anyways, but I need one that can change the file size to a smaller size it looks like.

Got any other for me to try?

If you want a transcoder, do a search for DVD Shrink 3.2.

I will try that if my new plan does not work... lets see...

EDIT: the program just does not work with my computer or something... it says I want to put 0 MB on a 0MB disc... WTF?

Got another suggestion?

Check out CDBurnerXP:

CDBurnerXP: Introduction and News

It apparently burns all type of media including new formats.

I think DVDFab HDDecrypter can transcode.

ok I will give those 2 a try tomorrow. If not I am going to do the computer swap trick i did with Dance Dance Revolution (Install software on a XP computer, then transfer the files onto a Vista computer in the appropriate places. This does not work with all software, but I did find it to work with Dance Dance Revolution! ).

I have yet to try DVD shrink yet, but I have a few DVD's under 4/7 GB so I am trying those first with CDBurnerXP. I will tell you if it works nicely.

just tried a burned copy of SAIKANO Volume 2. It works... But when your on the menus it does notlie to show the symbol by each word to let you know what you are choosing. Otherwise it seems to be fine.

I am trying coaster image 7 now. Wonder what that DVD looks like...

I will have to try DVD shrink tomorrow.

EDIT: I tried DVD shrink, its not very good. I burned a movie onto a disc, but also made the files smaller so it would fit on the disc, and everything plays out of order! lol.

EDIT 2: Nevermind it was my portable DVD player, it reads fine on my computer. Its gets a little skippy sometimes though.
