Good Headphones on a Budget

I'm sick of replacing my cheap headphones every other month, so I've resolved to pick one really good pair for like $50-75 and have it for a lot longer. Could I expect to get anything that doesn't crumble inside a pocket at that price? If so, what do you recommend?

I'd recommend Sennheiser HD280 Pros but they're slightly above your price point.

I have Sennheiser HD 202's, they are UNDER his price range, and they are fucking amazing.

Probably not earbuds since those tend to fall off. I saw a pair of "low-rider" headphone with a collapsing headband at f.y.e. I would have gotten those but I don't know if Skullcandy is a good brand (I'm assuming no).

Skullcandy's are decent for what you want. If you were planning on spending like 100 bucks on skullcandy we'd have a different conversation.

Don't spend more than like 30-40 bucks on them. They most def aren't worth anything above that.

that is where i got mine

the sound quality isn't OH MY GOD I CAN HEAR FALCC!!! but it's pretty good

I picked one up at f.y.e. today for $30 (on sale from $40). The same model at Best Buy was $50. And I don't regret buying it for an instant. Yet.

It's just a shame they didn't have any colors other than blue in stock.
