Hard drives on raid 0

I have two ATA hard drives on raid 0 using a (godknowswhat) brand raid PCI card on my old computer. If I move those two hard drives onto another computer and plug it into the motherboard using the motherboard raid 0 config will the drives still be readable?

My gut is telling me no, just because of the whole throwing the hard drive into a different computer thing, but then again, I don't know a whole lot about raid, so it could be different.

I would hesitantly say no since I'm not sure of how it would be cross compatible with a (possibly) different RAID controller.

my friend says most likely yes because the protocol for striping data is pretty much universal, but I think im still going to hang on to that raid card just in case.

I agree with the above. So long as the configuration is perfectly intact after the transfer, drivers and all, it should all be fine.
