I had to do it through my school since my public high school was desparate to use it's Title 1 funding for something non-suspicious. They hooked up with e-sylvan, and because the more people using the ticket program means the more government money they get, the ticket people were rewarded, in a sense. All eSylvan knows is my name and a front I used for a home adress (really the place my mom worked), they can access my school records. The year before tutoring, I B'd the entire year. After tutoring, C and B. No suspicion, just some 128MB memory, 20GB HD, NO FLOPPY DRIVE bare bones generic computer with free Panda Antivirus Platinum, free dial up (not necessary since I had DSL, but gave it to an relative who really needed internet but couldn't afford it), a headset mic and a PC Tablet. Thats free and is my dedicated Stepmania PC.
Although they originally said it would be a laptop. I was pissed and pissing my pants at the same time I saw the 3 giant boxes my mom brought from work.
Summary: My school did it, not eSylvan.

Fake? Are you kidding me, I was blowing through the lessons. After a week, I realized that no matter how fast I was completing assignments, the tutoring period wasn't moving any faster. I couldn't take the slowdown and just removed any and all evidence of my tutoring. Removed the eSylvan programs, cleared out IE's cache (eSylvan HAET FFOX LOLZ), deleted my account (through the parent account that I activated since all my parents ever knew what to do on a computer was play Solitaire), and I was set. Nice try by them using a Windows Registry file to lock the computer from right clicking or installing new software other than the ones they provided.
