help with getting rid of a virus

ok, I have a cirus on my computer, and I need some help getting it off.

I got it off what said "loader" on the desktop. I thought it would install a program, but it never did, it installed a virus.

I did Norton, and it turned up cold, nothing found that is detected as a virus. But I can see it clearly with my two eyes.

There are 2 icons in the bottom right hand corner I do not recognize, and they both lead to websites asking me to download spyware programs to protect my computer, and ocassinonaly it will trick me by bringing up fake windows browsers, and say that it wants to get rid of viruses, but the bar at the bottom says INTERNET EXPLORER, so I aint falling for it.

Look through BleepingComputer.com -> Spyware and Malware Removal Guides and Reading Room and find a thread that describes this fake malware remover software exactly.
