How do you record ps2 screen to pc?

I have seen people recording themselves playing beatmania. How do you record it straight to your pc?
Do i need sth like a tv tuner??

Yeah, you need a TV turner that has those Composite inputs in them.

Or you could get the Dazzle DVC80 for about $80. It comes with video editing software and connects to your computer through USB.

You split the audio and video and play on your TV like normal.

ALL TV Tuners introduce lag. Period. Dont argue with me on this one, I know better.

What you can do, is split the signal and send it off to your TV too. That will let you play lagless.

you're gonna get lag trying to play off the PC monitor. that is given. however, the amount of lag is dependant on numerous factors. as it is, the amount of lag I get (using a VideoAdvantageUSB capture box) varies from milliseconds (enough to throw my timing off) to a full second.

the ideal solution is, like stated above, to split the signals (at the very least the video signal). if you can't, you're gonna have to deal with it.

I used to have one of those USB 2.0 tuners. Those things introduced I think 2 seconds of lag, if I remember correctly.
