It keeps crashing everytime I start it. I've tried restarting and reinstalling but still no use.
Using Opera as we speak and having to deal with wierd coloured text.
EDIT:: Using Vista

Marketplace Rating: 1 | The new Firefox is fucking shit. Half the sites I go don't even load properly and it takes god damn forever for it to even load pages. It has nothing to do with my internet, because I'll do the same thing on Safari or even IE and the pages will come up twice as fast and display just fine.
It has also decided that when I download things I have to select "Open File" rather than "Save File..." If I select Save File, then it does nothing. The file doesn't get downloaded and the download progress bar doesn't even show up.
Ugh, fuck Firefox. I'll go back to using Safari.

I haven't had any problems with FF3, with the occasional exception of the browser closing when I hit the minimize button. But maybe I'm just clumsy.
Download Statusbar add-on has kept me from having any issues with saving files...
Well, okay, I guess I lied, since occasionally videos will only play two seconds before stopping, even if the rest of the video loads. Don't know if this is FF or my video player thing, though.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I ran into problems with Firefox 3 as well. When I tried to watch videos on YouTube, there was no sound. I reinstalled all of my audio drivers, reinstalled all of the flash players and still no luck. I uninstalled it, and reinstalled the earlier version and it worked fine.
I now use Google Chrome. It is very similar to Firefox, but with some small extras that I really like. I recommend everyone check it out, give it a try, and see what you think.
As for anyone using Safari or IE, I pity you. Those are terrible, look bad, and just aren't very friendly. I like all of the extras that come with Chrome and Firefox. I will never go back. | |
