I've got a PAL PS game, a US PS with region hack, and a US television. What do I do?

What do I need to be able to play PAL games on my US TV? Is a new TV the way to go? Where can I purchase universal TVs offline?

There are PAL to NTSC converters you can aquire. Go that route so you don't have to deal with both buying a PAL tv and catching your house on fire due to different voltage plugs.

That works too I guess, though I have no idea why you'd wanna use a computer monitor as your main screen for game playing. But that's just me.

It's a PSX or a PS2? (may sound dumb, but I can't really guess...)

Either case, try checking if your modchip has an option to automatically display PAL games at 60 Hz

Actually all I have is a hack disc and spring. I don't have a modchip.

Alternatively, there are programs that will "Patch" PAL ISO's to 60 Hz, you're going to have to make back-ups of your PAL games, but you seem to be able to by-pass that already.
