Ideas on where to go to fix my laptop

Alright so, I have a Dell inspiron e1505 that crapped out me literally the day after the warranty ran out. It's been sitting in my closet for a few months and I'm wondering where I could take it that wouldn't cost me too much money.

At the moment whenever I do the fn and power button it spits me the error code for a CPU problem so im pretty sure the cpu gave out... Whenever I try to turn it on it just sits there, and does nothing, the HDD indicator light blinks for a second like its TRYING to boot but no dice. Any suggestions?

Replace the CPU. They come in sockets for a reason. You have no warranty, find the teardown manual, buy a proper CPU on Ebay (if its a Core 2 Duo system I have a T5500 that I could sell you) get some thermal grease, and put the system together. Its tedious and there are lots of small parts, but its really not DIFFICULT.
