Waited in line for the iPhone Friday. Got there at 6:20 am and left at about 10 because of all the server issues. I got the white 16GB.

Sadly, I wasn't able to get one of the 3G iPhones. AT&T decided to spring on me at the last minute that I'd need a security deposit to switch to them ($750....WTF)

So I bought my friend's old iPhone from him and unlocked it on T-Mobile. Much easier and cheaper for me. Maybe I'll switch to AT&T when they decide to drop their ridiculous security deposits.

The longest line I ever stood in was for Star Wars Episode 1, and that was like a 20 minute wait at most.

I was expecting to wait for maybe 2 or 3 hours to get it, and then it became 6 hours, I suck so hard, it's an experience I never want to do again

The iPhone is cool at least, I got the 8G BTW

Something to beware of though; If you're an AT&T customer and you're not eligible for an upgrade, you have to pay extra. My mom had to pay $499 in the end, and that's how much the original iPhone cost, just because I couldn't upgrade until September. That's fucking borderline false advertising, because I never heard anything about that until when I got on line.
