I don't try and make my iPod what it isn't. I Use my iPod as a large capacity flash drive. Functionality that I don't have to DO anything to the iPod to get to happen.

I have a 1g Nano with more scratches and drops in its name than should be allowed. That and that I got it used without any knowledge of its history should say something about it.
